We’re celebrating 25 years in business by donating 25% of our profit…
This year is a special year – we’re celebrating 25 years of building houses by setting up a charitable foundation. Over the course of the year we’ll be supporting a variety of charities such as Parkinsons, Lupas UK, York Against Cancer, Alzheimers, Sash, Well Child, Different Strokes, MS and Huntingtons Disease.
We’re aiming to raise £250,000 and you can help
For 250 days from the 21st February we will donate 25% of our net profit to charity. We’ll also be doing plenty of fundraising events. 50% of the money we raise will go to the Brain Tumour Charity and the rest we’d like to donate to other causes nominated by you… we’ll especially be supporting MS, York against Cancer, Different Strokes, and Huntingdon’s Disease, so if there’s a cause close to your heart let us know about it using the contact form below.

Join us for the challenge of a lifetime
In a matter of months, we will be running and walking our way across the 84 miles of Hadrian’s Wall. This coast to coast journey is not for the faint-hearted, this epic journey follows the ancient wall built between AD 122 and AD 128. From the east coast to the west, the wall spans England’s northern border with Scotland rising over hill and dale. Our team are fully in training for the event that takes place in September 2019, preparing mentally and physically for what is going to be a mammoth challenge. If you would like to join us or find out how you can support the Yorvik Homes team, please contact us using the form below.
Coffee morning raises funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance
It was an extremely wet and windy morning in Leyburn when we held our coffee morning in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
However, thanks to all the support from Yorvik home buyers and Leyburn locals, it was a tremendous success and, together with the raffle, we raised over a thousand pounds.
Local businesses in the area, including The Wensleydale Heifer, Milners Interiors, Serendipity, Property Link Homes and Katie’s tearoom kindly donated prizes and the standard of baking would have impressed Mary Berry herself.
Sue Heslehurst helped us obtain the matched funding from Barclays Bank for £1000 and the Air Ambulance benefitted by £2010.00 in total.
We are so grateful to everyone who helped in this event and who supported it to achieve this result.
